Why We Built TLink
For years, legacy URL shorteners have followed a familiar trajectory: they start simple, build a loyal audience, and then abruptly hide basic features (such as custom link names, high-resolution QR codes, and click charts) behind aggressive \$35 to \$300 per month subscriptions. Even worse, many shorteners monetize traffic by injecting tracking scripts and third-party advertising cookies into redirect chains.
We believed there was a better way. In late 2026, we launched TLink (https://tlink.bond) to give individuals, independent creators, small businesses, and engineering teams a fast, honest alternative.
The TTech Ecosystem Connection
TLink is proud to be part of the TTech suite of free online utilities . TTech hosts more than 410+ free, client-side browser tools, from PDF mergers and image compressors to JSON validators, calculators, and developer helpers.
By sharing infrastructure and engineering resources with TTech, we are able to sustain TLink without needing to bombard our users with intrusive advertisements or subscriptions.
Safety, Ethics & Threat Prevention
Because open shorteners can be abused by bad actors, TLink maintains an active security architecture. We enforce real-time URL sanitization, block malicious loopback probes (SSRF defense), evaluate phishing heuristics, and promptly disable violating links reported by our community.
Our automated destination monitor (Autopilot) also helps link creators by detecting broken 404 dead ends before marketing campaigns go stale.
